DEFINITIONS


"We", "us", "our" is defined as Invitations Handmade By Debbie and its associated staff.   "You" is defined as the user of www.invitationshandmadebydebbie.co.uk and all associated sites on the worldwide web.

 

 


CONDITION OF USE


By accessing Invitations Handmade By Debbie's website you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.


You should not use this website if you do not agree with these terms and conditions.


We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions without notification.

We will not be responsible for any of the links to third party sites which appear at any time on this site 


We are not responsible for any content or availability of such sites. We do not necessarily endorse any products on these sites.

PRICE OF GOODS

 

 

All pricing detailed on the site is deemed to be correct.

 

We reserve the right to change, without notice, any pricing in the case of error or in the case of manufacturer increasing their prices.

 

 

 

DEPOSIT

 

 

A minimum of £20 or 50% of the total order, whichever is the greatest, is required for deposit. This is non refundable. 

The balance due depends on whether you are having 1 or 2 delivery dates.  Within 1 delivery date the remainder is paid prior to despatch or collection of your order.  Within 2 delivery dates another 40% is required prior to despatch or collection of the first part of your order, the remainder is paid prior to despatch or collection of the 2nd part of your order. 

 

 

  

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE


All goods and services ordered and purchased through Invitations Handmade By Debbie are subject to the following terms and conditions.

1. No goods or services will be shipped or commenced until full payment is received and cleared.  All products remain the property of Invitations Handmade By Debbie until full payment is received and cleared.

2. Once the goods have been received, all risk of damage to or loss of shall be with you. 

 

3. We are fully compliant with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Act, which provides you with a seven day "cooling off" period after the order is received during which time you are able to cancel or return the full or part order. However, this only applies to goods which are returned unopened in their original packaging and are unused. The following exceptions apply: Personalised items, including but not limited to stationery and favours.

 

4. Customers are liable for return postal charges and we have the right to charge for collection of cancelled orders which have not been returned. We reserve the right to charge a handling fee on goods changed or payments refunded at our discretion.

 

5. Please contact us, if not prompted, with any information regarding personalised items.


6. Please note that due to the nature of handmade items, there may be differences to each piece.

 

7. Orders are despatched within 2-4 weeks from receipt of final payment. 

 

8. You will be notified immediately if we anticipate your order will take longer. 

 
9. Urgent orders must be requested in writing and may an additional 20% of the order total.  This is not always the case and we will try, wherever possible to accommodate urgent orders free of charge.  You will be advised immediately if we cannot meet your deadline.  

10. Your statutory rights are not affected by any terms and conditions stated above.

 

 

 

PAYMENT

 

You have the option to either pay by Cheque or with your Credit/Debit Card. All our Credit/Debit Card transaction are processed by PayPal through their secure website. You can access PayPal through the link on the bottom of our home page.

Make cheques payable to D. Bell.  Final payment is required before the goods are despatched or collected.  Goods will not be despatched until cheques are cleared.

 

 

 

WORDING

 

1. Upon receipt of your order form and deposit, initial proofs of your inserts will be sent to you electronically for your approval, this prevents any spelling errors. 


2.  Final proof reading is the responsibility of the client.  Any amendments should emailed to me signed and dated. 


3.  Amendments after final proofs have been agreed and production of the work has commenced will incur extra charges. 

 

4. If any amendments have been made a further set of proofs will be emailed for your approval with your requested amendments. These must be emailed back to us signed and dated as correct before we can commence with your order. 

5. The most recent dated version of amendments shall be used in the production of the work.  We cannot accept any amendments unless they are signed for and dated.  

6. A minimum of 4-6 weeks is required from receipt of the approved proofs and balance payment to complete the order. 


 

NOTICE REQUIRED FOR AN ORDER

 

Order details need to be confirmed, hopefully 6 weeks before invitations are required for posting, usually about 4 months before the wedding date.  I can normally make invitations in 2 weeks but it is best to ask before ordering to avoid disappointment.

 

DELIVERY TERMS & COSTS

 


1. All orders are sent by special delivery or courier


2. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage which occurs during transit via any delivery service. 

 
3. We cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred due to late delivery for reasons outside our control (postal strike, etc) 


4. Delivery is charged at £12.00 for small parcels,(less than 2kg), and £25 for above.  to UK Mainland (courier or special delivery).  Orders to IOM, IOW, NI and overseas, please contact us for delivery charges.

 

5. Items such as order of service, place settings, table names and menu are not usually completed until details are finalised nearer the wedding date and are usually sent separately from the remaining order.  
In this instance an additional postage charge may become payable.  We will only charge you the cost to us and you will be advised of any additional fee when your order is confirmed (please contact us prior to ordering if you have any queries regarding this). 

 

 

CANCELLATION

 

1.  If an order is cancelled before proofs have been submitted for approval, we shall retain 50% of the deposit and refund the difference. 


2.  If an order is cancelled after final proofs have been agreed, we shall retain the full deposit paid. 

 
3.  If an order is cancelled once full production of the approved proofs has begun or completed or delivered, we shall retain the full deposit and final payment. 


4.  No refund or exchange can be given unless the goods are faulty.  Your statutory rights are not affected.

All copyright and design rights in any of our designs, in the production of stationery tailored specifically to suit you and the final products are owned by Invitations Handmade By Debbie.
